Michael Lemon, the founder of Cyber Safe Family, and Gena Peth have come together to help you learn more about how to keep your family safe while using devices. Screen Time Safety is a passion of mine since my own family had struggled with too much unrestricted online access.
We both know that it is more than just stranger danger because screen time is becoming the new addiction and causing your children to lack empathy and true connection. Your family could be at risk for emotional, mental, relational, spiritual, and sexual destruction without screen time boundaries. We believe by providing you with technical knowledge and support you will be able to take action and protect your family.
Course Description:
I have created a Screen Time Safety Roadmap that will take you on a journey to save you time in how to set up and manage your family’s devices, one STOP at a time. At each STOP, you will learn how to simplify the steps to Setup, Test, Observe, and when to Proceed to the next device so that you can feel confident in managing your family’s devices.
You will take a few pit stops along the way to cover some essential warning signs, potholes, and detours that you will want to avoid!
This self-paced course includes videos and checklists on key parental settings for all your devices
Group Devices
Review how to group devices by type and user to take advantage of parent controls and router setting.
Cell phones & Tablets
Review personal device settings to ensure you have the right controls in place to protect your child. Learn what you can add to the device to help with monitoring and loopholes.
Computers
Review laptop and computers to ensure you have the right setting in place and what options you have with school Chromebooks
TVs & Streaming Devices.
Review SMART TV settings and streaming devices to ensure you have locked them down to meet your family's needs.
Game systems
Review all the options for managing parent controls on game systems and what loopholes to be aware of when playing games
